If you care about your privacy while surfing the web, or for any reason you often have to deal with restrictions to websites due to your geographical location, then you should take a look at this small application. NotMyIP is a free tool designed to hide your identification on the web, masking your real IP address and letting you surf anonymously by providing three reliable and quality proxies (from US only). This is useful to protect privacy, prevent identity theft, and also to avoid restrictions to websites and services which are available only in a few countries. From a small tabbed window that makes the program extremely easy to use, all we have to do is click on the change IP button. On the advanced options tab we can manually choose a proxy, and also set our selection as permanent. The program works with all popular web browsers, and the great thing about it is that it does not require the installation of add-ons nor extra configurations in our web browsers. It proved to work just fine on IE, FireFox, Opera, and Chrome.
